damaged hub removing wheel bearing

I heated the hubs and used a punch to get the bearing outs of the front hubs with no significant issues. Except it turns out I scored/damaged the inside of the hub. My thought is to remove the rough pieces sticking out and just install the new bearings.... I don't see this as ruining the hub. The bearings rides on the inner races, not the wall...
Am I missing anything....?
Thanks.
