If I gave you these numbers

You have to contact Porsche AG for the certificate.

First off, that's an invalid VIN. Check the numbers and letters and repost the correct VIN. For example, your 3rd digit is an O, not a 0.
Secondly, what are you trying to determine? Market that the car was built for (spec)? Options on the car? What, exactly? What does any of this have to do with a COA? Do you have one and you are trying to verify its accuracy? Don't have one, and you want the info for free? Do you own the car? Is there still an option label on it somewhere? JR |
I assume you are not from the U.S. That VIN# is not a U.S. vin. Looking at The Red Book, your car was made between Aug '94 and Jul '95 and based on the vin # you gave I am guessing it was made in Oct-Nov '94.
Other than that, nothing more could be told about your car without contacting Porsche AG. As asked by Javadog, when you say "Help with Certificate of Authenticity" are you saying you have one and need help with it.....? If you do indeed have a COA, what you see is what you get. |
With the newer cars, most of the info that would come on the COA is stored in the Porsche PET program so you can get it from any dealer. For instance this is the info that comes back on the VIN above:
1995 Carrera 993 Coupe, trans type G50.21 engine type M64.05 order type 993331 Option Codes (didn't include the descriptions here as it was too much typing) I210, I233, I323, I434, I604, M130, M150, M197, M219, M288, M325, M335, M338, M398, M423, M425, M437, M438, M441, M455, M480, M492, M534, M544, M562, M566, M567, M573, M605, M650, M651, M657, M685, M939, M975, M982 Option M325 is interesting, version for South Africa/New Zealand. In the USA/Canada if you call PCNA they will tell you everything that would come on the COA if you provide documentation of ownership free of charge. You only need to pay for it if you want the fancy certificate. Todd |
