How tough to make it narrow again
I'm looking at an early car that has a wide body kit on it in f-glass. My question is, when someone cuts the old fender away for one of these glass conversions, how much metal is usually removed. Could there be enough to put steel RS flares on it or is it a case by case thing and just go look at it.
Thanks

case by case
Some "'glass conversions" use complete 1/4 panels, then again some use just a flare section. Each system has it's unique challenges when it comes to returning the panel to it's original configuration. If the car is worth the effort than I'd say it doesn't matter which type is used, both can be returned to original.

I would take the rear wheel off and look behind the rear quarter, you should be able to tell how much was cut, also i would just replace the front fenders its not worth the hassle to take the flaires off, Kevin
