copper oil tank?...pic...any info
Removed today for cleaning and some leaking oil lines. I have never seen a copper tank. Can anyone give me some info...

I have mine out too.
What is the best way to clean it out (paint is falling off)? Is it necessary to repaint or is there any other suggested coating?

Take it to a radiator shop to clean.
I sprayed mine with Tremclad (many cars ago)

after cleanning they need attention on the top where most of the time they leak because dirt sand.

Just sprayed her with a couple of bombs of Tremclad semi-gloss black.
Looked great. Had the car for many many years (RS clone) Sold it  Quote:
