2.7/3.0 vs 3.2 engine mount bracket

I’m swapping my 2.7 for a 3.2 (which didn’t come with an engine mount bracket). The bracket that I need is shown in the pic below, not the support bar, but the one that bolts to the cases.

It seems that there are two different brackets, one for up to the 3.0, and a different one for the 3.2 (let’s consider coupes/targas only).

I took the one from my 2.7, and it looked like it would bolt correctly to the 3.2, but there was some interference with the outer pulley on the 3.2. I believe this outer pulley to be for the a/c compressor. I removed the pulleys and discovered they are one piece. So I removed the pulley from the 2.7. The offsets (from the mounting surface to the center line of the pulley) seem to measure the same, although the belt groove for the 2.7 pulley is definitely a little narrower. Seem to be the same diameter. I bolted the 2.7 pulley onto the 3.2, and the mounting bracket bolts up just fine, and everything else seems to be right in place.

Is the only difference in these mounting brackets the additional clearance for another pulley? For reference, the 2.7 bracket is 911-115-014-03-OEM, and the one for the 3.2 is 930-115-017-02-OEM.

Has anybody ever used a bracket from the 2.7/3.0 on a 3.2l? Does anybody know why I shouldn’t or couldn’t use the bracket that I have?
Thanks,
~Chris

I had to change to the newer engine mount to use the aluminum A/C mount.

That's the engine console and thy come up for sale on here periodically. I'm using a 3.0 version on my 3.6 along with an RSR engine mount to give it more of a vintage look. They all bolt up, but as you are finding some accessories won't fit. I had to remove the a/c bracket and covert to a single pulley. Works and looks great!

The Carrera pulley is the problem for your application and SSI on a 3.2 tend to be too small to flow exhaust gasses.
The correct engine console has a larger bulge to clear the pulley and no 8mm bolt holes to hang the muffler. The correct muffler hanger bolts to the bottom 2 bolts and faces upward.
