Charging light bulb out ?

Too simple..???
When I turn on my ignition, but before I turn the ignition switch all the way...I used to have the battery and oil red lights ..light up. Now ..only the oil light glows. These are the two vertical round, red light indicators in the second-to-left instrument.

Is a burnt out bulb the (obvious) answer?...or is there some electrical gremlin hidden that I should chase down instead?

Wil,

The bulb is the most likely problem, but an open anywhere in the Blue #61 lead is possible, including the brushes at the slip-rings in the alternator, and at the 14-pin connector at the relay/fuse panel.
