poker game- at german autofest

I just thourght I would throw this out there . at home on friday nights I play low steaks poker with a bunch of old farts . when I say low steaks I talking about a twenty dollar buy in. three raise limit . fifty cent max bet . nickel,dime,quater,half kind of stuff. on a bad night you could loose 20.00 or 30.00 bucks or win 20.00 or 30.00 bucks. so since I'm going up friday and other than dinner and sitting around drinking for a few hours I don't think I'm going to have much to do I thought I would throw this out there. so I'm looking for five guys who would like to play for 4 or 5 hours friday night . I have chips , chip racks , cards so if anyone is intrested let me know.

Hi.. when you guys go to the German Autofest, Where do you park your P cars.. and what about at night too?
I was thinking about going.. But I don't wanna worry about my car all night.

The fairgrounds has a couple of *main streets*. Last year, they parked the cars by style. It was amazing seeing a whole street lined with 911's. It's Porsche parking only inside . You'll probably drive your car to wherever you stay the night. There is a Holiday Inn with secured parking within walking distance.

well it's funny you should ask.......

last year at the autofeast I stayed at the pierpont inn. when I called days before arriving and asked about the parking . no one bothered to tell me that they were redoing most of the parking lot. needless to say parking was very tight. I'm not sure weather it was the first night or the second but I got up one morning and I swear every seagull for fifty miles had $hit on my car . I look at all the other cars ........nothing . needless to say I'm not staying there this year

other then that I don't think you have any thing to worry about.

Without Prejudice, it immensely pleases me to read that some folks on this site refer to themselves (or their friends) as "old farts", and that responses to the thread speak of "drinking" and "bringing out the cigars".
I am sick and tired of that squeeky-clean, hypocrite, holier-than- thou style that seems to have become the professed life-style of the ...... of who, in fact???

BTW, I don't smoke, and fully disapprove of any "drink and drive" combination, if fact, I don't play cards).
