Per their calendar it's scheduled for April 19th, 2014 but I'd check back.

^^^ Not true ^^^ I have been twice and no rain. It rained the Friday and as we left late Saturday.

Been going for the past 12 years. Yep. It rains a lot. Cold too. But I would not miss it for the world. So much fun.

i believe it has rained on 3 of the last 6 meets but only once did it last all day.

I'm tempted to go to this legendary swapmeet... but wondering how I would take the parts home lol

Rent a truck/car $
hotel for a few days $
then pack the stuff and drop it off at a fedex $

Experiencing Hershey swapmeet ...priceless ?

Does it matter that the 3rd weekend is Easter Weekend? Do you think it would help or hurt attendance?

I would do it for the experience and story but find the swap meet portion a bit anticlimactic. Of course, I generally don't need many parts (currently!) for the car so after wandering the parking area and sea of used parts for a few hours, I'm ready to leave.

However, the wife and I decided to spend a night at the Hershey Hotel and that is an experience in itself.

It's been our initial spring treck for the past 15 years in our P-car. Rain? = lower prices/better bargaining power. Great excuse to leave early spring in Ontario and take in the ever greening landscape as we head south.

ive been going since round top so that is about 17 years now . I dont really need anything for my car but i never miss this pilgrimage.
I always do it lone gunman style and is an opportunity to get away from everything and everyone and immerse myself in the culture. Leave home after work . 7 hour drive. Sleep in my van usually .. go for breakfast .. do the swap meet, head home around 1pm or so. home to get showered and watch the hockey game ..

would never miss it ..
