Touching up gauge cluster

What have people used to touch up the black frame that holds the five gauges on early cars? Mine acquired some scratches when the gauges were removed/replaced. Thanks.

Air brush.

If the scratches are deep, remove the gauges, a little filler, sand and the air brush.

Thanks. Was wondering what specific brand/color would work best.

Maybe the SCs are different, but the black area around the gauges in my car is covered in black vinyl.

73.5 is black paint over metal

I'm interested in this for the same reason.

My '74 has a matt-ish black paint, too. When I redo it I'll use something similar, but for me close is close enough, but I am interested in the best option.

Jerome, glad you will benefit, too.
Ganun, thanks for the recommendation.

Keep 'em coming.

I was thinking Krylon 1613. The real stuff. Sold as an industrial coating now.
