Shortened hub adapter
 
Has anyone had any experience in shortening a Momo hub adapter to move the steering wheel closer to the dash? I'd like to install a removable steering wheel adapter, but the combination would bring the steering wheel too close.

cut it on a lathe and have someone tig weld it back together.
