Hello,
I am refreshing some electrical and would like to use the copper electrical faston connectors. I have found the male/female variety in brass and zinc plated brass, but have had trouble locating them in the original copper. Our host was able to provide the 6.3 female spade in copper, but not the others I attempted to order. I have looked at the AMP/Tyco selection, and still no copper available as the base metal. If anyone happens to know the original manufacturer, that might be helpful. I would suspect many sources over the years for the 911, but interestingly, the connector's marking pictured below is on many of my original as well as the single variety our host was able to provide. Thanks. 89 coupe ![]() |

My 2 cents:
I wonder if the copper design will not hold tension over time as well as other metals typically found in connector systems. Faston type connectors work because the parts act as a spring. If you are going for originality, then I guess OK. Maybe those original parts are beryllium copper, then fine - that is a good spring and contact material.

They weren't copper, they were brass. AMP are the best.
