Porsche In Christmas 2013 Ice Storm

It is 10 degrees F and there is up to an inch of ice on everything here in eastern Maine. The utility power has been off for 3 days. My 76 came from Houston Tx, so I thought that I would take it out of the garage and see how it likes the weather.

How awesome! Only driven in the snow and ice once with my 911 in 8 years. Got caught in a winter storm in Colorado Springs in '09. Had some fun on the ice with summer tires at night picking up my daughter. Hard to get up a small hill. Luckily it all melted the next morning. I went to a do-it yourself car wash and used the warm water to completely clean the underside and whole car to get the ice and snow off. Great trip home. If I ever live somewhere with cold temps and snow, I will put winter tires on.
