Campagnolo wheels
I want to order campagnolo wheels for my 911 Carrera 3.0 1977. They are 15" and can be ordered @ group4wheels. But what is the best size... 7 and 8 inches should do the job, but maybe I can also fit 8 and 9 to fill the arches a bit more?? The body of my car is still original. I want to lower the car and then also fit the wheels. Only the details about offset and so on are unknown for me. Anybody with some experience on these rims and their sizes?
Maybe some pics of a impact bumper with campagnolo wheels? Best regards, Peter. |

Seems the offsets of any 8" or 9" wheel that fits your car should be the same. Just look up the many available charts on the forum that show the exact offsets. Bill Verburg has very nice info. listed if you search on wheel offset or his name. I have one saved but no idea how to post.

Make sure you have clear tire solutions before you pull the trigger. It's my understanding that 15" tire choices for 911 owners are few and far between.

Yes, I think wide 15" tires are mostly shown on "hot rod" types with Hoosiers, slicks, etc.. Just a few rare tires with tread left that aren't narrower.
