Wheel offset question

I'm thinking about purchasing some fuchs wheels for my 88 Carrera. It's a set of 6x17's for the front and 7x17's for the rear. Is an offset of 23 for the rear correct? I know that's what they are supposed for the front but wasn't sure if rear might be different.

Thanks.

An 88 Carrera should have staggered widths, if you are going to run 7" wide on the front, you should get either 8 or 9" for the rear.

No such thing as a 17x7 real Fuchs, are the rears replicas?

As for offset, yes, 23 is the correct offset for 7" for either front or rear. 10.6 is correct for 8" rear, 15 for 9". For reference, the 6" fronts are 36.

Arne,
My bad ...I meant 6x16 front and 7x16 rear. I'll try and edit original post. Thanks for the feedback.
