Gulf Oil Decal???
I've searched high and low.
When I was Porscheless and dreaming I promised myself a Gulf Oil Decal for the inside of my quarter window..... All I can find is the typical vinyl exterior "sticker". Anyone know where I might source one? Thanks, Scott ![]()

Pelican Joe Bob does outside vinyl work, not sure if he does inside the glass like you are looking for. Also try pelican Amg_only. That's also his eBay user name. I purchased an inside the glass decal along with some 911-50 decals from him via eBay. Nice quality decals. Worth a shot to see if he could make the Gulf as an inside decal. -J

Thanks Guys,
Yep, I see Joe Bob on here regularly, I think this is way too small for him. Horrido, thank you, I saw that but I think it's an outside application. I think I'll order one just to find out for sure..... Scott

would either of these work?
8 inch Gulf Oil Sponsor Decal - 8 [RD-VD-GFLG] - $9.00*US : RACELINE DIGITAL, Hull and Deck Graphics | Motorsport Graphics 10 inch Gulf Oil Sponsor Decal - 10 [RD-VD-GFXLG] - $11.00*US : RACELINE DIGITAL, Hull and Deck Graphics | Motorsport Graphics edit...ooops, probably too big edit02...maybe trim off the flag on this one http://www.racelinedigital.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6_28&products_id=1177 but they do seem to be for external use only. the last sentence says 'adhesive back vinyl' http://www.racelinedigital.com/store/index.php?main_page=page&id=10 Last edited by duncan1437; 12-11-2013 at 03:19 AM.. |

I don't think that they even had stickers for the inside of the window back in those days. Gulf Oil went away in 1985 and back then stickers were for external usage as best as I can remember.

theres lots of motorsport 'waterslide decals' for 1/24 size model cars, but couldn't find any for real cars, though one could make their own using an ink jet printer
out of curiosity i called Raceline Digital, who suggested their 'static cling option' would probably stick to the interior side of the glass. they can make the decal any size you want. |
