Goodbye PacNW brethren

Well, as I mentioned on another post, I'm heading for hot & sunny Austin, Texas. I wasn't able to meet that many of you in person, since I didn't get my car back on the road until after my son was born a few months ago, but I've enjoyed your virtual company (well, I still will, but anyway...)

Have fun at the P-car events coming up, I'll be thinking of you guys-

Dave - I enjoyed you posts from the NW & would have liked to meet you in person. Good luck in Texas.

I have a vision

Were you sent there by your job or are you following your heart and moving to spread the word, Texas needs an R Gruppe Chapter, you could go down there an convert those folks to
"Hot Rod" at their Porsche events and show that attitude Cris talks about. Great plan, move to where your needed. Maybe missionary is not the correct word. but it is close.

Are you nuts? Your gona' die down there in that heat, the moss between your toes is going to start itching, no A/C in the P-car, new baby and all, bet your folks are happy!

Randy, I'm not well versed in Texas geography, but Ed Mayo is an R Gruppe member. He's in Euless, Texas. Dave? We'll miss you up here. Sorry we were just a day apart at the "hysterics"...Paul

Texas, you say?
Well, you can pay a visit to Warren; eat at some great BBQ joints; listen to many fine R&B bands. All good things.

Yeah, R Gruppe missionary! Hey, wasn't the Alamo a mission???

Thanks for the posts, guys- Randy, I'll see you in Monterey next spring, come hell (or hellish heat) or high water! And if any of you have any reason to come down to Texas, tired of moss or whatever, give me a call!
