Amp gauge install in a 1984 911

Has anyone or does anyone know how to wire an Amp Gage in a 1984 911??

Strongly not recommended! All the current flows through the gauge and most can't handle the current of a more modern EFI car. There is a good reason they went away in the 70's.

A nice small digital volt meter is fine in my book. Who needs an amp meter?
