OK to Post "Feeler" thread?

A question to the collective. Is it OK or appropriate to start a “Feeler” thread for a car for sale? Where to post one?
I am almost at the point of looking to sell my IROC Projekt. As some may know it has a killer 3.8L that has virtually 0 miles and cost about 35K to build. This deal can /would include a Trailex trailer and a fully rebuilt fresh G50-01 with shortened bell housing and LSD and all the parts for the conversion. There is a long list of equipment and mods as well.
I am not ready to sell but just want to ask the question, is it OK to start a feeler thread?

Sorry if I am off base. Thanks

Not off base at all.

At first blush the Porsche cars for sale forum would be a safe bet.

Folks will know if posting at Rennlist is worthwhile as well. I believe they have a more robust base of newer race car members, that may widen your market.

If you aren't sure what to sell it for and want feedback put a thread in the Pelican Marketplace forum. Just expect to get the car picked apart. The FS section doesn't allow responses. In the marketplace you can have a conversation about your car.

Good input. I did not know that. Makes sense.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll prepare the info in a clear, concise and honest description with a lot of pics. I was thinking that a package deal might be more attractive to the right person.

Thanks
