2.7 crank into 3.0 sc case.. which rods?
is ti possible to use a crank from a 2.7 into a 3.0 sc case and which rods would I want to use .... the 2.7 rods and trim down the pin end width? Thnaks in advance for any and all help...

the only 3.0 case it will work in is an early carrera or turbo 3.0. those engines used a 2.7 crank stock.

If your current 3.0 crank has 6 bolts for the flywheel then you have the right case(lucky you) . If your crank has 9 bolts to hold the flywheel on you have a standard 3.0 type case and your 2.7 crank will not fit.

aaaahhhhhh yes the HOLY GRAIL of cases.... I guess if I had one of those it would be time to look for a 66mm crank....!
