This BBS has been so great, here's a chance to give something back. Shifter125 had the engine disconnected (fuel, oil, linkage, etc.). Perhaps this weekend Shifter125 will open the engine and we can post pics from that.

Good pics. I thought that you just got the thing running correctly? Are you doing a rebuild? Clutch?

Side note, after you and I last chatted I removed my air pump. Everything went great, except I can't get the stupid bracket past the grommet that goes toward the exhaust. I have pulled for all it's worth and I still can't get the bracket past the bottom stud. Any suggestions?

Razor, if I didn't know better I'd think that you pulled those pictures from my harddrive. Good site!

The first picture is my p-car. The engine drop is from the 78SC in shifter125's garage. So my p-car has not had the engine dropped.

NTS: I also have the bracket still attached. It looks like it will come out if the air manifold is removed. We could always just cut the stud off ;) .

Interesting engine drop. Lowering the engine to the ground while in the car, dropping the motor and then lifting the car off the motor looks really efficient. Are you going to put the motor back in by lowering the car to the motor?

I (we, if I get some help again : ) ) plan to put the engine back in the same way it came out. I noticed the rear engine mount bolts only had about a half inch of thread engagement, so I'm going to try to find longer bolts of the same size and grade. This should make it easier to line up the bolts and pull the engine up the last 1/2 inch into position.
