RS Carpet kit with rear seats?

Has anyone installed the RS Carpet kit and kept their rear seats? I expect the carpet would need to be cut or perhaps just the seat hinges cut through? I'm planning to buy the dark charcoal Perlon set from our host, but am curious if it will be difficult modifying it to work with my seats.

then all you need is some bulk perlon to cover the seat backs. Available from App Biz, who supplies our host with the carpet sets, so it will match 100%

Thanks, Great idea on the bulk perlon. Actually I think Pelican sells App Biz' bulk carpeting so it's one-stop shopping!

I installed the appbiz rs carpet in tan. During installation expose the stud and after installation use an awl to expose the threaded receiver. A bonus for me is the factory tan carpet is a decent match. I trimmed the seat back carpet to just fit the seat back. They go in and out easily.
