Yes. I did. Make sure you get most of the old mat out. I had to cut a little on the cruise side. Didn't use any glue. Was pretty easy. With motor in place, took about 15 minutes.

I'd think you'd have issues with the adhesive at that temperature. I'd read the instructions that came with the glue.

I believe most contact cement won't set up while it is that cold.

The original pad was glued.

Confused as to why this one would not need adhesive.

It's pretty rigid, yet flexible. Stays in place. Just the ears up by the hinges come down every once in awhile. I have pictures on my main computer if you like.

No glue of any kind was used... Imagine tinfoil

I did see the two sides were foiled. Hey, if it works, sweet.

Very nice...a little better than what was in there for sound deadening. A crumbling mat replaced by tinfoil. Can't go wrong.

just installed. for the one i bought does not require adhesive. both sides are tin foiled and i did not have to cut or modify anything to have it stay on the bulkhead. the material is tin foiled on both sides.
it could have been a 15 min job but i spent a little more than 60 minutes, ending up loosening ICV, air box, afm to create a little more space to work the pad into the space.
i also had to remove a pin for the hood shock and have the shock go through one of the holes provisioned on the pad.
i don't know how much the noise has quieted down....will see if i notice change...

Glue and magnets..... There was a few threads on here that recommended that, and it worked great for me. Lowes has the magnets. Just glue the magnet to the sound pad and then install the pad in the car. I think I used 16 to 20 magnets total. I bought the same sound pad.

I used glue and magnets 3 years ago and it looks and sounds like you glued it in. It takes around 30 minutes for the install
