Wire under the hood
Hi,
I took out my tool kit this afternoon and noticed a set of wires that are unplugged. See photo. First: do you know what they are for? Second: how do they connect back up? There is a blue and black on one side, and brown and white on the other. ![]() (right side of the picture is the left side of the car)

Likely the Left Front fog light based on your photo.
First, do a visual "Brake and Lamp" check. You can also follow the Bk & Bl wires back under the carpet and to the trunk sheet metal. The fog wires will pass through a grommet near the front corner of the trunk. On the fogs the Black goes to Brown (ground) and Blue goes to Gray (+ hot) The flat connectors can sometimes be challenging to fully plug in with the plasti insulator. I use a small pair of long nose needle nose pliers to give them the final push. Might check the right side as well. Cooper Last edited by Cooper911SC; 12-22-2013 at 10:45 PM.. |
