Great Customer Service Story

Long story short . . . I ordered an external cooler kit from Steve Timmins for the conversion as my '77 was one of the lucky ones to make it out of Germany without any external cooler. Steve had some problems getting the cooler, but the kit arrived on Thursday 2 days before a tech inspection that I wanted to attend.

I opened the box thursday evening and found that one of the hoses was not right (turns out Steve was making 2 kits at the same time and 1 hose got swapped).

Steve knew that I really wanted to go to the tech session, so what does he do . . . he says "Lets do lunch tomorrow" and he showed up at noon in Virginia from his home in Delaware.

We had a great lunch and Dr. T headed off to Delaware.

It dosen't get any better than that

I just finished installing the cooler, pics are on the conversion page.

I'm off to fill her with oil.

Marc,

A great story about your experience with Dr.T. I've spent a lot of time looking at his website and it’s nice to know that the man is as cool as the cars he builds.

I also just went to your website and I must say it has got my mind stirring. Hope I can sleep tonight thinking about my part list......

Nice Post!

Simon:

Thanks for the kind words, however, if you are considering a 3.6, I'm glad you're in CA

Regards
