Fleabay armrest / center console...cheap, but nice...
Thought I would pass on to the Pelican village. Found this on ebay for under $50 bucks.
I have been looking for an armrest, and now I don't know how I lived with out one. Small drawer for your wallet, large center section and cup holders for under $50...round chrome piece goes with my interior theme. My CW fits perfectly under the arm rest. No affiliation. Merry Christmas! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1387939082.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1387939179.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1387939196.jpg |

How does it mount? Drill through the center tunnel? I see several of them on eBay. Is this the universal type?

At first I just had it jammed between the seats; now it's attached to the tunnel with 4 small screws. The metal is pliable and the height is adjustable. I had very little storage space once I put on the RS panels, so this helps a lot. Regards MattR |

You could prob flip this thing around to utilize the cub holders. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1387983694.jpg |
I hear you should never buy more than one of these at a time. They kind of get cocky once they band together. Make sure you secure them very firmly to further reduce this risk.SmileWavy

Just kidding... |
This one from I got from eBay came without cup holders. I can't live without it now, with my right elbow resting for single handed relaxed cruising. The cloth seats are quite comfortable too.

Hi guys,
On the two types of center armrests you show mounted in your cars, how does the width affect your seat movement? I ask this because when I check the sites vehicle application list, it says it will not fit. However, you both clearly show it does fit in the car. Per the width dimensions, they are both too wide. Furthermore, our newly acquired 78 911 has Recaros installed. Does anyone know if these narrow the workable open space between the seats or are they equal to the stock seat distance between them. I guess it comes down to the available open area that dictates the useable space. Looking at them I guess I need something 3-4" wide. I found an older post dating back to 2005 sowing exactly what I need. However, the original poster has been offline for years. So, does anyone have a line on this type of center armrest???? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1390062772.jpg |
