eBrake Sticks?
Okay, here is what happened. Any ideas of what's happening?
1. Go to 7-11 at 2:00 am 2. Park and engage eBrake 3. Finish shopping 4. Get back in car 5. Engage brake, put car in neutral, start car 6. Dissengage eBrake, eBrake light goes out 7. eBrake is still engaged even though eBrake handle is down all the way 8. Try to back up, can't eBrake is engaged 9. After weaving a tapestry of profanities, pull ahead a few inches, eBrake dissengages WTF?!?!?!?! Can eBrakes just stick?

I should fix mine too. But I HATE messing with the spring and retainer on the e-brake. Mine sticks on occasion too.
Mine might not be quite tight enough. So the cable tube hangs up in the hole that is cast in the trailing arm. On mine, I just reach behind the tire and grab the cable tube. Give it a wiggle. It just pops right out. Not real scientific, but it works. I'd rather drop the engine than work on the e-brake springs. And mine a brand new.
