MFI Pump correlation

Hi
what makes you think you need to correlate your mfi pump.

If the car is not running properly look at every other reason it may not be performing before you get someone to work on the pump.

Change fuel filter at the console and check the wire screen in the tank, then check points, plugs, rotor button, plug wires, valve timing, air filter, engine earth wires and coil. Also ensure engine hoses especially to the mfi thermostat hose is intact.

Check the injectors also.

Buy the air flow meter from pelican and test if the stacks are drawing the same amount of air.

After all that then think about the pump and when you or your mechanic work on the car you need to make sure the throttle bodies are in good functioning condition and air flow can be set equally between the intakes.

Basically you need to make sure the motor is tuned the best you can before working on the pump. Even if it is static tuning.

Here are some good pelican threads.
