Von Neumann Bertone cabriolet--=what did it sell for back in the '80s?

Sorry to bring it up again but still trying to find out if this car was ever available at a low cost when no one knew what it was. I know this car has been restored. It was originally built by Carrozzeria Bertone at the behest of Johnny von Neumann, Porsche importer, who was worried Porsche was going to bring out the 911 without having an open car , which he thought necessary for Calif. It looks an awful lot like a big Fiat 850, having been designed by Giugiaro who also did the 950 for Bertone. When I saw it back in the 80s it was maroon and I can't remember the price being bandied about--maybe in the 20s? Now it is black and looks from Randy Leffingwell's pictures in his various Porsche books to be restored.

Randy Leffingwell's book picturing it is PORSCHE LEGENDS.

It got ugly with the headlights open as seen here

but right below that is the car in color in black, as it looked after restoration. Thanks for any clues as to what the car was priced at during its "lost years" in the wilderness

I can not answer your questions but I remembering see this car in Excellence or 911 & Porsche I can not remember which some 20 years ago. As I recall it was black then as well. It was staged in front of a stately house.
