Unhappy Emergency!! Removing rear seats

Yuck!

My kids really love the bck seats in the "Porsh car" and are generally well behaved but yesterday I was reminded of the rapid onset of nausea in children.

To cut a long and rather disgusting story short my pants are in the wash, the back seats of the car are getting spring-cleaned and I have stashed a couple of plastic bags in the map pocket for future emergencies.

Now my question - How do I get the little seat squabs out of the back (my car is an '88 3.2 coupe). They seem to be glued on and before I just rip them out I was hoping that someone had some advice

And if you travel with kids in the car include the bags in your toolkit

David,

Not sure about the seats but I sympothys with you.....my oldest kid has thrown up in every car that we have had...including friends and family, not actually in "firends and family" but in their cars. "Daddies Porsh Car" is by far the worst. We can get maybe 20 minutes.

AAAAAAAHHHHHH the joys of having kids.....

Mark......

David!

When I pick my backseats away, there was som kind of pins who held it.

So I just took it away then I put in new pins with a "pistol" for them.

But that was on my car itīs a 930 -77, not sure itīs the same on yours..

Good Luck

/Jocke

The one time I removed from a 3.2 they had been glued in. But it looked as if they had been glued in by a PO with a glue fetish. Certainly not a factory job. Try ripping out carefully.

Mine were simply glued in. I used spray adhesive to put them back.

Carefully pull them out. Should be no problem.
