Question Suggestion on two-tone interior...

I want to make the interior of my latest project bit different... but without any radical stuff... just tastefully different if you will... so I was thinking of doing two-tone leather interior in black and tan leather. What do you guys think??

The problem is that all I have seen is black dash with tan door panels... and I am going the other way... tan dash with black leather door panels.

Tan/caramel leather dash, top of door trim, top of rear window trim... the rest of the door panel in black leather. And have TRE do the seats with black leather with just an accent of tan/caramel leather to bring it all together??

I am finishing one of the dash in black leather and the other one in this tan leather... still not sure which way to go...

Link to my project...

The Beginning of another project - 911 SC NB RS

Comments, suggestions, heck! jokes are also welcomed

That may look good.

Lots of the new car designs use dark colors but light colors up top to brighten the cab.

I think that will look great. I like the tan you chose as well.

I'm working with TRE currently on a black/tan combo. I'm going with matching door panels though. But will still have some of the black trim in other places. What I did to hopefully make this an integrated look is that we are leaving the TRE seat backs in black FG gell coat . The dash is similar color to yours and they are doing a hybrid door panel with basket weave. You are more than welcome to ask Dave for a picture as they finish mine. They are just putting mine into production, now. So ask away and tell Dave I certainly don't mind. I'm in Indiana so unlikely for our cars to ever be in same parking lot LOL If so, we'll have something to talk about.

Thank you Luke. I will give Dave a call.

Dave's team will do the seats for this car and depending on what we decide for the seat pattern, they will do the door panels to match (if there is a pattern in the seats that would make sense to replicate in the door panels, if not, I will just install a new plain set that I have).

Always loved Rdane's CAR! Just didn't come up for sale when I could pull the string.

Watch out for Dave, he's a great passive salesman He'll talk you into upgrading when you didn't even know you wanted to LOL "cohesive package"

Here's a color scheme similar to what you have in mind for the dash/doors
