Not 911, but need help

OK, so my wife's Audi A6 was hit on the passenger side rear door. Pic is below (best I have given snow/salt here).

Quick opinion: does this dent look it might be able to be pulled out? No damage to door handle.

thanks.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1388940562.jpg

Really hard to tell with all of the road spray on there...

*looks* pretty close to the edge of the door. That area can be tough to work due to sheetmetal layers.

Also looks like the dent is a long crease. Creases are also a challenge to work depending on how sharp/deep they are.

I would at least have a PDR guy take a look at it before going to the body shop.

Body shop will paint door and at a minimum blend into the rear quarter panel. Likely $1,200.00 range...

Bummer.

Perhaps drive it a bit more so it gets real dirty and trade it in on a new one - they will likely miss the dent and you have a new car

Find a friend at an upscale 'buy here pay here' used car place and ask them who they use for PDR. I just had a deep 4" long dent pulled out of my 911 door and I am not kidding, you cannot tell the door was ever hit. I am as happy as a dozen clams (steamed). He only asked for $100, I gave him $120. He spent just under an hour on it.

Quick opinion is yes but the paint looks cut.

Can you wipe it off and position the camera so it looks along the door - into a light for reflection - so the depth can be judged?

Also, confirm if the pain is scratched. If scratched, how deep?
