We lost another Pelican this week

One of our local PCA members and Pelicanites lost a battle this week, Zotman72 (Bill Lamb) has passed away. I didn't know Bill as well as many others from our region and on this board did, but I do know that he was a great person, car nut and passionate friend to many.

He always made a point to ask how my wife was doing when she was going through a cancer scare even though we only saw him a couple times a year at car events.

We all will miss him here in our local region. I hope his real good friends don't mind me posting this.

We'll miss him greatly.

Great asset to this board, I learned a lot from his posts in regards to my 72. Pretty sure he lived in Co and raced his 72.
RIP.

Wow...sad news indeed,, like most of us I had no idea.
Always enjoyed reading Bill's posts about his Porsche adventures. Had the pleasure of meeting Bill, and chasing him all day in his 72 thru the mountains 6 years ago at the Tour De Colorado, a true enthusiast. Rest in peace Bill

Terrible news. A loss for the Porsche community. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Should be a reminder that any day spent with friends, family and driving these cars is a great day and we should all be spending as much time enjoying it as possible.

Godspeed, Bill.

I'm so sad to hear this. My wife and I met Bill on our 2007 road trip in our old 73E. Here's a pic from our meeting with him and some other Denver area Pelicans. RIP Bill and our condolences to your family and friends.
