These things do look NICE! It eases the pain of the high price tag to see the high quality of these units. The special wrench was a nice touch!

Although the parts description says "No longer available with optional O2 sensor fitting"... I was pleasantly surprised to see the O2 fitting was there!

Wow - they come in bags now. My excitement was enough without them. Seeing the incrementally bent pipes inside the exchanger is a marvel - take some pictures of the insides before the install.

How much for the SSI now? I paid $1,100 less than a year ago for the SSI from our host. That unit was probably the last one from PP and came without the bags.

Wished I bought another extra set of SSI last year instead of waiting for the engine rebuild to be completed.

That's probably why the used SSI are selling for $1K plus with all the dent and cracks on them. No doubt this SSI is a piece of art and masterly crafted. I'll just have to wait and save more to buy one. Thanks for the info.
