Clutch cable popping off clutch fork
Hello all,
I have a brand new clutch/pressure plate/bearing in my 1972. Everything is newly rebuilt and I have not yet ran the car or driven it for that matter. When I depress the clutch pedal all the hardware for the clutch pops off under pressure so the clutch does not fully activate. If I take a metal bar to the clutch fork and apply pressure with the bar it does activate but it is way more pressure than the clutch fork can handle. Any ideas on adjustment or what could be causing this? |

Yes, it is the stock clutch part number 915 116 911 00...hopefully it isn’t the wrong one.
I will take a photo of the cable connection when I am able. Thank you for the help here. |
