72E tried to take on an Audi TT
The guy is a friend of mine and its a 2001 red 1.8 TT. Nice car but not my style really. I was taking a few corners briskly on my way back to work after an errand when I look behind me and there was Kevin in his red TT....hmmmmm do I have a chance in my old 72E.....hmmmmmm I stop at a stop sign in a nice residential area close to work. And waited, and he pulled up dead beside me.... I peak over ( after scouting the area of course) grin and drop the clutch at about 4000.... A little sideways drift as I'm off, no bog, nothing but flat six music to 7000... feels good nice smooth 915 shift to second and look back to see Kevin didn't go for it.... Arhhhh. I think I could take him, but then his car is 30 years newer and has 4wd and 240 hp!
Well, it was almost fun

Something tells me you would out drive him for sure! . . . something like; you drive your 911, he rides in his TT.
BTW, 4wd eats about 60 of that 240 hp. . .atleast thats what it feels like.

Also, 240bhp is helluva lot out of 1.8 litres. Will it still be going in 30 years time like your venerable 2.4 mfi?
