Engine number question

I am trying to get some info on this engine, year, horsepower, etc. I am thinking this may be a European motor. Any help would be great, thanks!

6394821

930/03

Funny, my resources state that a 930/03 (RoW w/132 kw/180 hp) engine was a '78 only engine, but your 6394821 clearly indicates that it's a '79. Sigh, Porsche's bookkeeping!

6 = 6 cyl engine
3 = 911SC RoW
9 = model year
4821 = consecutive serial number

I have the same spes on the engine (RoW w/132 kw/180 hp), although my listing shows both '78 & '79

I agree, the 930/03 was the standard engine for the SC in both 1978 & 1979 ROW applications.

Thanks, guys! I will make a note in my "Spec" book!
