I have an 83cab. I might be interested in it. Can you give me a picture of table of contents so that I can get an idea of what's covered? If you want, PM me with a price. Warren

Joe Bob 01-12-2014 01:59 PM

No idea on a price, hence the post. Not looking for a Guttebberg Bible price.....

PM me your email and I can send high rez pics.

Until then see the attached pic.

This is from a German delivered 911.....

This IS NOT a for sale ad, so the PMs from the self appointed forum police can go stuff themselves.

I have had a run in with those guys, the are like Illinois Nazis, except their sense of humor is nowhere as appropriate.

As an "Idea" .. Joe Bob .. why not make a PDF of the manual and make it available FREE via email to fellow Pelicans ...... I have been doing that with the manual for The Blaupunkt Reno Radio ... it helps out a lot of fellow Pelicans (who are always appreciative), makes you feel good too ... also doesn't stop you selling the original book down the track if you want to ..... just an idea .....

Can you spell Copyrights infringement?
Having worked in IT in both the Entertainment industry and a software company I have seen people with good intentions (giving copyrighted material for free to friends for instance) getting in a lot of trouble.

Joe Bob 01-12-2014 06:05 PM

The roll bar was very rare. Many and better copies around......I have a roll bar that a pro looked at made a better one. Cost me $250, installed. I mounted two Yakima bike mounts on it. Irks the purists.....makes me smile ever time a wanker makes a crappy comment.

I have already posted copies.....I would be happy to provide the manual to someone for copy costs.....it is 30 years old and outside of copyright.

There is also a Targa to Cabriolet conversion manual from the factory.

Thanks, Joe Bob, for posting this today. I have a cab, and a tonneau cover and, to be honest, don't think I really know exactly how to use it properly. The pages you posted here help me a lot. This site is all about sharing info and helping fellow enthusiasts, and you accomplished that here, with me at least. Of course, a few more pages might also be helpful :).

pc100porsche 01-12-2014 06:56 PM

What are the copy costs ... I'm talking about a scan sent by email

Joe Bob 01-12-2014 07:01 PM

My time is cheap, just takes awhile and would be a killer on your ISP.....prolly 10+ emails for a PDF transfer, it's 36 pages.....or if someone has an idea on a compressed zip file.

If you can keep an eye on the aswipe that keeps killing my graphics ad with one star, it's a done deal....

Sabre 01-12-2014 08:02 PM

also interested in a copy.

3.2 CAB 01-13-2014 11:36 PM

Hi Joe, I would like to be able to acquire a copy also. hanks a lot, Tony.
