915 tranny fill plug - magnet question

Picked up my 84 Carrera a couple of months. Though she has been well maintained, I'm taking care of some preventative maintenance items and checking all the usual items just to be sure... This week I got to checking tranny oil though it was changed 7k miles ago. Of course that turned into a nightmare with an over torqued plug. After heating, breaker bar, welding a nut onto it etc, she's out.

I know original fill plugs did not have magnets, nor did this one. But it did have a recess for a magnet. Is that typical for stock or do I have a magnet roaming around the gearbox?

Photo below show the old and new fill plug from Pelican. Though there are no signs of pressing a magnet in such as with the new one, I've read some are epoxied in. There are no signs of that either, but just trying to make sure.

Make one type and install magnets on half of them, keeps the price down
The side plug is without magnet.

My concern is the filler plug that I finally wrestled out had a recess for a magnet but no magnet. I imagine it did not have one to begin with as there are no real signs of one being pressed in or glued in, but I was curious if the plug pictured on the left is a typical, non-magnet fill plug.

Just hoping for some reassurance that I don't have a magnet on the loose in my tranny.

I changed my transmission oil today and it had the same setup. No magnet on side. Magnet on bottom.
..also, a tip ( ask me how I know). If it is cold where you live, warm the transmission fluid up before trying to pump it into the transmission. It was about 30-40 degrees here. Pumping it turned me into a girly man. It was like pumping mortar. I took the container and placed it right next to two big work lights. Let it incubate for about 30 minutes until warm... did some other stuff, then came back. Then it pumped right in like water.
