Can you squeeze it in with somebody else's shipment? Would work fine alongside a car or anything that does not quite fill a container.
Btw how are you going with your car? Pics?

Not sure if this helps, not sure if sizes are the same depending on cuts, etc.
I've shipped a carbon roof skin from metro Detroit to Madrid, airport to airport, customer doing the pickup on his end for about $400usd with a freight forwarder |

You could try standby cargo with the airlines. Also mixed containers. I just sent Porsche 912 engine to Holland from Vancouver in a mixed container filled with individual items. 230 dollars. Thought that was pretty good. With the airlines they will ship stuff cheaper if you are not in a hurry and they have room. Give Quantas a call. Goodluck Thanks rob

I have a mate that shipped a bunch of dodge charger body panels to Sydney from the USA I'll ask him who he used I'm pretty sure it was by container and affordable
Cheers Bill
