I'm gonna get me a 959 on EBAY!!

Hey, I got my bid in at $10,000, and hopefully no one will out bid me. It shouldn't go all that high because it doesn't say it was owned by Peaches and Herb or someone else !

Seriously, you'd think this guy could use some proper English when trying to sell something for a few hundred thousand dollars.

Anyway, here's the link!

Later!

Chuck

I just took a look and it appears that some rich scumbag (probably Bill Gates!) has out bid you by $100.00

Am sure glad they'll let me pay my deposit through "Wetern Union" or Cash.

Car is in Florida, they "loacted" the company in Texas to do the mods., Exoticar is based in Canada, car originally entered the country through the Port of New York yet will have a Nebraska State title?!?!?!?!

"...everbody knows that they were being re-sold for 1 200 000 usd." Present bid: $15,100. Huh?!?!?!

Haha! I am the current high bidder with my whopping $150,000 bid. Anyone dare to go higher and risk meeting the reserve??

Apparently, it was 'serviced' for 23,000 Euros.... that is more than I paid for my '86 Turbo!

...Oh, my wife would KILL me if I brought one of these home!

I don't think the reserve is in jeopardy yet... they are asking $439,000 on their web site.

Am I the only one that thinks the 959 is ugly?

Well Mark, compared to a classic 911SC, the 959 is ...err...a bit on the homely side.
But then again, there's that motor!

Good point. Maybe we should pitch in and buy it as a parts car.

Most of the information in the sales details are wrong.
There are certainly more than seven 959s in the US. There are around 20 959s at one of the three shops that are federalizing the cars.
It costs between $30k to $90k to comply with EPA rules.
Excellent 959s go for around $160k to 200k in Europe.
Because of the complicated electronics several special tools are required to diagnose and erase the warning lights.
Porsche of North America does not support or even acknowledge that any 959s are in the US. Therefore parts are extremely difficult to obtain.
