Front headlight steel brackets ?

Hi,

anyone has a picture from the inside of the front headlight, so that I can see how the steel brackets (loose bent steel wires) keep the lens to the outer casing ?

After a testride of my brothers car (that was not starting but was solved with forum help - faulty DME relay - crank but no spark solution) he couldn't get the car in gear anymore. Problem with the clutch...

When I pushed the car back to his house, I pushed the H4 lens a bit too far in - I know I know, stupid to push one hand on a lamp when there is soooo much space on the frunk to push the car back...

too late now, when disassembling the front headlight, there were all loose brackets lying in the front cavity...How do these 'clip' back in ?

couldn't find a decent description in Bentley

Anyone has a picture ? these clips are bent strangely, can't figure out how these should sit...

This thread: Help! need pic of H4 spring pattern

When I did it, I took some very low-res snaps on my cell. The picture in that thread is much, much, better...

I noticed that "old" H4s seemed to use 2 different lengths of the clips - but "newer" ones (ordered from our host circa 2006) had only the long ones.

Garage
Take the other side out and look at the backside of it..... Note that in many cases there's 2 different sizes, 2 pieces of one size and the rest are all the same. The one that has 2 pieces fits around the adjusting screw hole area, one around one screw hole, and the other around the other.
