Post Rear bumper disassembly question.

This weekend I'd like to install a rubber piece that was missing from my car when I bought it. It's the long rubber strip that goes between the rear bumper and deck lid. Also, my rear bumper sags and needs adjusting.

I have the Bentley manual, but would like some advice here. How big a job is this? The local Porsche dealer says 3 hrs, but that means nothing to me, since he's just quoting from a manual. Can I do it myself with basic tools and some mechanical inclination? Thanks.
