Boxed suspension arms for racing purposes
Sorry to post in this forum, but in the 356 Forum I did not get any answers.
I hope somebody here can help. Can you recommend a shop that can box (make them stiffer) the suspension arms of a 356C in order to avoid deflection. The car is going to be used in the Carrera Panamericana and will be highly modified. A stronger suspension is going to be needed. What they do is weld reinforcing to the arms. What I do not know is if after welding they do a heat treatment like tempering or something. I read this was usually done to racing 356s. This is what is needed: ![]() |
