How to mount Cibie Oscar hood light?

Hi.
While looking through some of the old rally pictures, I noticed that some rally cars have Bosch (similar to Cibie Oscar) hood lights mounted on the front hood, as opposed to the more $$$$$ Pallas. I have a set of Cibie Oscars that I'd like to replicate this look. Does anyone have pictures of how these lights were mounted, including under the hood brackets? Thanks in advance.

Here is a source for under-hood brackets:

Wayne that is good news, I've been toying with making some pallas style shells to take oscar lamps and rings , a poor mans solution if you will.
During my thinking and fiddling I noticed that an oscar has a pivoting mount carried in a pressing riveted to the lamp shell. So I drilled out the rivets leaving a hole in the oscar shell. A flat plate can be welded over the hole and the lamp shell simply bolted down using a pallas type load spreader under the hood.
The best bit is this allows an oscar to sit right down on the hood, I need to solve aim adjustment but mocking it up I think careful positioning will be the key. Sorry no pictures since I'm still messing with it as a hospital project but food for thought.

I heard rumors, a few months ago, that Rene is back in the game. It looks like that this is no longer a rumor and good news indeed. Hopefully, the price and quality remains comparable to the last batch he did.

Haasad, I also couldn't see how the "pivoting" Oscar type, when mounting on the hood, would be as stable as the Pallas' mounts that porwolf mentioned, and thought of doing the same thing as you are to a set of Oscars I have. Hopefully someone who has mounted a set of Oscar on their hood could speak to their stability.

If you decide to mount Oscars on the hood, a support stay will have to go from near the top of the housing to the hood . so two holes for each unit.
Otherwise expect to see the lamps flopping back and forth twisting the hood surface.

I took a couple of pictures to try to illustrate my thinking, don't think there'll be any need for additional support( beyond a palllas style plate).

My thinking is to blank the hole where the pivot bolt went with a flat section. Cut a rubber gasket, seat the lamp on the hood and fix with two or three bolts through to a pallas esque plate under the hood. It would be neat to get a gasket compliant enough to use the mount bolt tension to aim up and down. As i said still at the thinking stage but it has potential.
