Dusty gauges
My gauges are dusty on the inside glass, after 34 years of use. Do the gauge rings unscrew to get to the inside glass or is there another way to clean. I know the gauges just slide out of the dash.

I have the same issue Clem,
The rings are press on and by all accounts difficult to remove..... special tool possibly? most send them off to North Hollywood Speedometer for refurbishment. Hopefully someone else will chime in with this bump. good luck, Scott

Need to send them out. I was quoted $25 to remove the bezel and replace the lens on my combination gauge by north hollywood , so not terribly expensive.

I have never done it. But I have seen several threads here on Pelican where people removed the gauge rims by carefully prying them open on the backside with very small (jeweller type) screw drivers.

You can very carefully pry the bezel off...any distortions of the bezel are covered by the rubber surround if you do it slowly/carefully,
