Oxford, MS Wrench

Any recommendations for a BMW Wrench in Oxford, MS? My Son is a student at Ole Miss and his BMW is acting up. I know this is the wrong forum, but if any forum can help, it is this one.

Thanks!!!

I thought my answer made sense. I've got two E-36s and bimmerforums is a great source of information - not to mention he is likely get an answer quickly there.

I can ask this question on bimerforums if you want and let you know what they say. What model/series and problem?

Not getting an immediate response so I did some searching for you and although I know absolutely nothing about this place, someone else does. Here is what they have to say:

"If you are in Mississippi, take your car to Doc's Bimmer Shop in Oxford, MS. It is WELL worth the drive. Doc is one of the absolute best BMW techs in the country by far.

And he has at LEAST the same equipment as the dealer (I know Doc well, he's actually better equipped than most dealers). IIRC he's got an Autologic, 2 MODiCs and several other scanners, etc....

His # is (662) 236-2700"

Doc's Bimmer shop right there in Oxpatch. Best in the state and quite a character. His wife Karen runs the front office 662-236-2700.

Don't let Doc's drawl fool ya....he's a genius with BMW's. He's fair with his prices, honest and won't try to screw ya.

I spent almost three years there in law school and I just learned something new today about Oxford. I never knew there was a BMW mechanic there. Live and learn.

Doc's originally had his shop in Greenville, MS. Being an astute businesman he relocated to Oxford which due to the abundance of rich sororiety girls cruising around in BMW 3 series, will allow him to retire quite comfortably.

When were you there? I graduated from Law school there in '89. I also note we have a mutual acquaintnance, Howard. Another Mississippi automotive genius.

EDIT: Just figured it out. You're at the former home of The ROUND TABLE! Didn't realize you were a porschephile.

Wow. Spend a day on the road and miss what's likely the only Oxford, MS thread ever. Deuller nailed it. Doc is "good people" as we like to say around here. -J

When I was in law school those BMW sororiety girls were the ones we used to dream about, and I am located at the home of the Round Table, the Lazy Susan, as she is so aptly nicknamed. The Round Table is no longer open due to age and ill health of the Morgans.
