AC Compressor Rebuild Questions
 

I followed the tech article on rebuilding your compressor. As the author suggests that the existing seal will be destroyed when driving it out of the nose of the compressor so it's a little difficult to know exactly how the pieces go back together.

Here is my question. Where does the black o-ring go in sequence? I think the correct sequence from the compressor side out is:

1 - carbon seal
2 - black o-ring
3 - retaining ring
4 - c-clip

If you have done this and know the answer I would appreciate the insight. Thanks.
