Leaks rebuilt engine
 

The engine was rebuilt last year and has run 3000 km, its this normal leaks? If not whats wrong? The leak comes from the left side of the engine, right side its dry!http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1391443536.jpg

In this case, a look from the top would be more helpful.
get a mirror to look behind the injection setup.
or maybe you get a glimpse through the airduct when removing the rotor.
it could be the back/left side of the engine breather cover seal.

Looks like cylinder base gasket leaks and head to cylinder leaks... could also be through bolt o-rings or any number of leaks from above like breathers, rocker shaft seals, valve covers, cam plate seals etc. The wind blows the oil everywhere.

Do you know more about the work that was done and who completed it? I don't see cylinder base gaskets or indicators of Curil T squeezing out... that could contribute to leaks.

Re torque the heads you'll be fine

Thanks for all answers! Yes a motormeister did the total rebuild of the engine and he have rebuilt old porsche engines for many years. Does it help to retourqe the heads if that its the problem? Both upper and lower studs are steel studs.

Sorry, that wasn't very nice of me.

For 3000klms the oil color is pretty black it look base cylinder leaks and i would check the funny exaust plugs beside header they might leak on down shift that why oil is so black for rebuilt engine.

I'd clean it off completely, then run it in place to identify the actual origins of the leak. Really hard to tell unless that is done.
Good luck....re torqueing the heads properly couldn't hurt anything on a fresh rebuild.

Considering that re-torque advice came from one of the best engine builders in the US I would follow it.. clean it, re-torque, then see if it still leaks..
