Will work for trailer storage
I took the plunge this weekend and ordered an open deck car trailer. I got tired of figuring out how to get home when the car breaks at the track and all I have to fix it is some chewing gum and an old shoelace.
Buying it was the easy part. Now I have to figure out a place to keep it. I live in San Jose and I don't have much space for storage, hell I'm already out of control with 5 cars and not enough places to put them. Anyone know of trailer storage space in the San Jose area at a reasonable price?

Take the car that runs the LEAST, put it on the trailer and put in the place where that car was.....if it is on the street, be advised that un-attended trailers can be towed without notice in MOST cases.
If it is hooked up to the tow vehicle it has to be marked, then not moved for 72 hours before it can be towed.... Last edited by Joe Bob; 09-03-2002 at 03:40 PM.. |

Chuck, if memory serves me right, there's a storage place off McGlincey, next to Jerry Woods and Smart Racing in Campbell. I think

Sorry, I can't help you on the storage.
But, I was wondering how much an open trailer goes for these days. J Perry

Thanks Matt, I'll look into that one.
The trailer was about $2k out the door with registration, tax, everything. This is a 14 foot beavertail with open deck - upgrades are twin axle, hydraulic brakes and 8 foot ramps.
