My kids rode around in one of these around Alois Ruf's shop back in 1996 or so. Well, they were allowed to wash it, anyway- it didn't get started that day. Not sure what mods Alois did to the engine or suspension.... If I can turn up the pictures, I'll scan and post them.

Hi all, I have the two seater which I won in a competition in 1990. I was a very happy 9 year old, despite it being a bit battered and dusty. In 1998 I wrote to 911& Porsche world a UK Porsche magazine. At around the same time I got a price list for replacements parts from Porsche UK for the parts I had worn down through regular use! Unfortunately they can no longer get hold of the parts which is a pain because I never bought them and the car is even more tired now, it's time I tidied it up. I emailed Porsche museum once asking for a history on them and they just said they weren't interested. I really want to get it cleaned up and get some history about it.

If you go to the 7:00 mark on this "Price Is Right" episode from November 1985, you'll hear the description of "the 1985 Porsche 911SC Cabriolet Junior..." as the car is rolled out onto the stage.

Reminds me of my John Deere 4x4 gator. It would make for a great addition to our shop.

Those things look cool. It would be nice if someone produced them at a reasonable cost.
